SMS consent & messaging

Customer-recovery SMS is not active today. Revapture will not send customer SMS until provider registration, sender setup, workspace preparation, and explicit owner activation are complete.

What counts as consent

Use SMS only when the customer’s business has direct, verifiable permission from that recipient. A website service request, an estimate/appointment/service record, a recipient-initiated text, a CRM consent record, or another contemporaneous first-party record may be reviewed by the business. The business must confirm the evidence before it is recorded.

What does not count

Uploading a phone number, email permission, a recovery approval, workspace approval, purchased lists, rented lists, scraped data, or third-party lists do not grant SMS consent. Revapture does not provide legal advice; the customer remains responsible for its own communications and records.

How Revapture handles replies

STOP creates an SMS suppression and stops queued SMS follow-up. Any inbound reply stops queued automated follow-up for that contact and requires human review. HELP is handled through the configured provider and Revapture support path. These controls do not erase the customer’s responsibility to honor recipient requests.

Our current status

We are preparing a future controlled beta. There is no public SMS opt-in form, no customer-recovery sender, and no active customer SMS delivery.
